Amend the current bylaw that does not allow country residential zoned home owners to keep bees. Currently home owners in Calgary are allowed to have bees as well Canadian Forces Base Gagetown is currently allowing beekeeping on the top of some of the base buildings. This day and age when pollination is a current problem and bees are on the decline our MD is adding to the problem by not allowing our community to raise their own bee colonies. I have talked briefly with Mr Bamber on the subject and having his own bees for many years I am sure he would be able to shed more light on the topic. I understand if we limit the amount of hives based on acreage size but if you can raise one colony in a city lot I am sure we can come up with a solution for our zones. IE Cr 1 colony, CR 2 5 colonies, CR 3 10 colonies etc. I have also contacted the Provincial Apiculturalist Mr. Medhat Nassar about what can be done to rectify this issue. Thanks for listening

There are beautiful trails at the Muriel Lake campground created for cross country skiing in the winter and used by ATV's in the summer. Would the MD consider designating Muriel Lake park as a no ATV zone in the summer so that horseback riders could enjoy these trail without the danger of ATV'er's scaring the horses? Additionally a outdoor stall for horses area within the campground could be developed and this could attract tourism. There are several parks like this closer to the mountains. Maybe the Muriel Lake park could be marketed for beginner riders and horses.

It has come to my understanding that the M.D is planning on building a new road behind Pine Meadows Estates... off Range Road 435. I live on Pine Meadows Estates and my back yard looks onto the trail system behind my house and many others... I can say confidently that this is not what the community wants. We moved out here to for the out the privacy the beauty the peace!! Putting this road system in will not only disrupt the community with all the loud noise the dust... and our wonderful trail system as well as the the quality of life for us residence and families..it is going to cost over a million dollars to do something NO ONE wants. I believe the excuse safety is being thrown around by the M.D ...really?? there are ample roads back here...BUT they are NOT well kept! They are extremely dangerous!! They MUST be made much wider!! why do you not focus on fixing what we have?? Why not fix Range Road 435 it self? This is a major safety concern. Please stop, focus on the current roads.

Multiuse trails for hikers and cyclists in the summer, and snowshoers in the winter. Kinosoo Ridge Ski Hill has a lot of land available, plus infrastructure is already in place. A network of non-motorized trails could be built in the area around the ski hill for use in the summer and winter. This would allow families to take their children somewhere to hike and ride, without worrying about being run over by a quad or snowmobile. A bike skills park could be built at the bottom of the hill.

I'm noticing a lot of expansions happening in town and a lot of hotels being built to accommodate the oil and gas industry. I am wondering why it is that the town is growing in size and the green space is not growing along with it. We are adding to what we already have not reinstating new areas but rather restoring what was already. The towns green space is Jessie lake but I think it's time to really look at a new way to bring more comfort into this town. When I'm driving in town I notice that it is built around buisnesses and residential areas aside from lakeshore there's no green walkways it's either a school park or a lil tucked in parked with that being said why doesn't the town purchase some of this land and build onto it more greenspace maybe add a townsquare where we can have an outdoors market on the weekend and honor or local artists there. Maybe even a bike skills park or a tennis court that isn't in a school yard but a free standing structure.
