August 25, 2021 — The Municipal District of Bonnyville is excited to announce the appointment of two new General Managers.
Bryan Bespalko, who has been acting as Interim General Manager for Infrastructure Services, will assume the role, effective immediately. Bespalko had been the Manager of Infrastructure and Utilities for two years prior to this promotion. He has worked in the municipal sector since 1991, with a background in water and wastewater treatment, as well as diverse involvement in many facets of the municipal world, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge.
Over in Planning and Community Services, Theresa Cochran will become the General Manager of the department effective September 7. Cochran has a 25-year background in municipal government and has worked with large and small municipalities during that time. She has extensive experience in municipal leadership, strategic and budget planning, and leadership development. She, her husband Dave, and their dog Daisy look forward to exploring the recreational opportunities in the M.D.
