Take notice that the Council of the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 is proposing to pass Land Use Bylaw No. 1667 pursuant to Section 639 of the Municipal Government Act.
WHEREAS, Section 639 of the Municipal Government Act, 2000 as amended, provides that municipal council shall, by bylaw, adopt a Land Use Bylaw for the purpose of regulating and controlling the use and development of land and buildings within the municipality.
NOW THEREFORE, under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, and by virtue of all other power enabling it, the council of the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 hereby assembled enacts as follows:
- Land Use Bylaw No. 1207 and Land Use Map, adopting the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 Land Use Bylaw insofar as it affects the lands within the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87, is hereby repealed.
- Bylaw No. 1667, adopting this document as the Land Use Bylaw (2017) insofar as it affects lands within the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87.
The Council will cause a Public Hearing to be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. in the Council Chambers, Municipal Office, 4905 – 50 Avenue, Bonnyville, Alberta at which time objections to the proposed bylaws may be made and discussed. Submissions to the Public Hearing should be made in writing.
A copy of the proposed bylaw and related documents may be reviewed at the above address between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. during weekdays or can be found on the M.D.’s website at www.md.bonnyville.ab.ca. Any written submissions must be provided two days prior to the scheduled hearing date.
