Sand-Drop Locations for Moose Lake Residents Announced

June 29, 2017 – Sandbags are now available for lakeshore residents affected by high water levels on Moose Lake, with sand fill locations established by Friday afternoon.

Sandbags are currently available at the Public Works shop, located at 61330 Range Road 455 and the Main Office at 4905 – 50 Ave. in Bonnyville. Bags will be released to lakeshore residents in 100-bag intervals per household. 

Sandbag fill locations will be up and running as of the afternoon of Friday, June 30. The sand-drop locations are as follows :

•West end of Vezeau Beach

•Turcotte Subdivision, Municipal Reserve (MR) lot on the north side

•Nicholson Subdivision bin site

•North Shore Heights bin site

•Fontaine Subdivision bin site

The Summer Village of Pelican Narrows lakeshore residents will be able to pick up sandbags at the Pelican Narrows Community Hall. In order to pick up sandbags, please contact Paddy Lapointe at:•Office – 780-826-5907, Cell – 780-573-5129, Home – 780-826-2804

Pelican Narrows residents can fill their sandbags at the playground beside the Pelican Narrows Community Hall.
