PUBLIC HEARING

Take notice that a Public Hearing to consider Bylaw No. LU 576 will be held on September 12, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the Municipal District of Bonnyville Council Chambers (4905–50 Avenue, Bonnyville, AB) at which time written and verbal submissions may be presented to Council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claim to be affected by the proposed bylaw or from any other person whom the Council agrees to hear. 

Rezoning Application – BYLAW NO. LU 576

Bylaw No. LU 576 is to amend the Land Use Bylaw to re-district Pt. NE-33-60-8-W4M Lot 2; Block 1; Plan 092 5990. The proposed Bylaw would re-district the property from Agriculture (A) District to Rural Commercial (RC) District for the purpose of establishing a saloon, eatery, and event centre.

The Public Hearing will allow written and verbal submissions to be presented to Council. Submissions may be made by any person(s) who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw or from any other person whom Council agrees to hear. Verbal submissions will be limited to five minutes per person.

Written submissions may be mailed, e-mailed, faxed, or delivered to the M.D. of Bonnyville at the contact information below.

A physical copy of the proposed bylaw and related documents may be reviewed at the above address between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. during weekdays or on the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 website at bit.ly/MDBvillePlanning.
