PUBLIC SALE OF LAND
Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87

Notice is hereby given that under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 will offer for sale, by public auction, in the Municipal Office, Bonnyville, Alberta, on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 2 p.m. the following lands:

Each parcel will be offered for sale subject to the approval of Council, and subject to a reserve bid and to the reservations and conditions contained in the existing certificate of title. The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 may, after the public auction, become the owner of any parcel of land that is not sold at the public auction. 

Terms: 
Cash, certified cheque, bank draft or money order. At the Regular Meeting of Council March 14, 2023, Council set the reserve bid for the above property.

Sale Conditions: 

• GST will be added to all successful bids. 
• A deposit of 10% of the successful bid payable in cash, certified cheque, bank draft or money order must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the sale. 
• The balance of the purchase price shall be paid on or before Friday, March 31, 2023. 
• All properties are to be sold on an “as is, where is” basis and the municipality gives no warranty whatsoever as to the adequacy of services, soil conditions, land use districting, building and development conditions, absence or presence of environmental contamination, or the ability to develop the subject land for any use proposed by the purchaser. 
• All sales are subject to the reserve bid and any conditions and/or reservations on the existing title. 
• Taxes to be adjusted as of December 31, 2022, and 
• Redemption may be affected by payment of all arrears of taxes and costs at any time prior to the sale.
