RURAL CIVIC ADDRESSING SYSTEM MAPS
The Rural Addressing System (Bylaw 1300) was created for the protection, health and welfare of Municipal District of Bonnyville residents and businesses. Signage that clearly identifies your rural location address is essential for emergency services and other core municipal services. It also serves as a basic location identifier for visitors, couriers and service crews. A letter campaign was started in August of 2007, notifying property owners of their new Rural Serviceable Address and providing them with telephone stickers detailing the address.
Fabrication of the individual property signs is nearing completion and residents and business owners are reminded to check back here regularly for updates in regards to sign delivery timelines.

LAND USE DISTRICT MAPS
Land use districts determine what type(s) of development can occur on specific pieces of land within the boundaries of the municipality. The M.D. utilizes 14 different land use designations to promote structured, positive growth where complimentary developments are grouped together to ensure the long-term viability of our rural communities. The land use district maps for the M.D.’s eight hamlets are listed below.
To learn more about land use districts and what designation your development might fall under, please read Part 7 of the M.D.’s Municipal Development Plan.
