The Bonnyville and District Centennial Centre (C2)is the centre of action for all ages. Home of the Junior A Bonnyville Pontiacs, the C2 is a full-service facility for recreation, fitness, arts and entertainment. The C2 features two NHL-sized arenas, state-of-the-art wellness centre, leisure pond skating rink, athletic field house, indoor running track, 32 ft. climbing wall, movie theatre, indoor play area and the C2 Cafe. The 5,500 sq. ft. Wellness Centre has expanded to offer versatile Rogue Fitness equipment, separate cardio room, dance studio and attached free-weights area. Personal trainers are also available by appointment and group fitness classes run year-round. There are regularly scheduled movies in the Theatre Thursday through Sunday, with afternoon matinees Saturday and Sunday. The C2 hosts local minor sporting leagues as well as adult recreational leagues, birthday parties, conferences and events. Cold Lake Energy Centreboasts a NHL-sized ice surface with 1,800 seats that can be transformed into a 3,500 seat concert hall. There is a field house, fitness and wellness centres, indoor walking/running track, a children’s play area, a fast food outlet and bistro. The field house is open for a variety of sports. The fitness centre is strength based, while the wellness centre features equipment by Techno Gym. There are a variety of fitness classes from Aerobics to Zumba.
