The Public Safety Department provides various types of law enforcement services to the residents of the Municipal District of Bonnyville. The Department is located at 5003 53 Avenue in Bonnyville and is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can also call 780-812-3332 if you wish to make a compliant or contact an officer. The Department is divided up into three distinct units to provide a more focused response.

The department consists of 11 peace officers and one administrative assistant, who provide the services of the department on a 24-hour per day, 365 days per year basis using shift work and on call hours.

Ward Beat Officers

  • Patrols in Wards 1, 5 and 6 are done by Officer Andexer
  • Patrols in Wards 2, 3 and 4 are done by Officer Hansen

Industry Relations Officers

There are four industry relation officers - Officer Goguen, Officer Juszczyk, Officer Prockiw and Officer Rowan. These officers are dedicated to industry traffic safety, and patrol the entire municipal district.

School Resource Officers

The Public Safety Department also provides peace officers to operate a School Resource Officer Program in cooperation with 24 local schools from Northern Lights School Division and Lakeland Catholic School District, within the municipal district, Town of Bonnyville, and City of Cold Lake. The SROs are Officers Eshpeter & Rupp.
